SOUL: Provides extreme sharpness and excellent edge retention thanks to the niobium contained in the unique steel alloy, which cannot be achieved with ordinary stainless steel grades. Karelian Birch Burl comes from the boarder land between Russia and Finland. It’s not a very hard wood but very enduring and high density. Wood is almost a white to reddish brown in coloring.
