I love this knife. I had a Henkel Pro-S 8” chef knife, and it is a good knife. But I was looking for an even sharper, harder blade. I was also wanting to try the nakiri style of blade. I bought this assuming it would compliment, not replace my chef knife. I love it so much that it has mostly replaced the chef knife. I still use that for hard vegetables (ie. squash) or meat with bones.
